ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ is excited to announce a significant addition to its leadership team. Geena Mattox joined the university this summer as the new Vice President for Philanthropy & Alumni Relations, bringing with her a wealth of experience in fundraising and relationship management.
Mattox’s impressive background includes securing major gifts and corporate sponsorships, successfully managing capital campaigns, driving revenue growth, and developing national strategies. Her expertise also extends to streamlining grant application processes and implementing accountability systems for effective stewardship.

Her proven track record in cultivating donor relationships, managing large teams, and overseeing comprehensive financial responsibilities will be instrumental in advancing our mission and strengthening our engagement with alumni and donors.”
Prior to joining ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ this summer, Mattox held several key positions that shaped her career. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Foundations and Grants at Best Buddies International, where she spearheaded revenue growth and developed national strategies to secure major foundation funding. Before that, Mattox was the State Director for Best Buddies in Las Vegas, driving revenue growth and providing strategic leadership across state operations.
Her experience also includes roles as Director of Business Development at Style Event Design, where she successfully managed quarterly sales goals and built long-term relationships with corporate clients. Additionally, Mattox has served as Director of Development for the American Heart Association in Las Vegas and as Chief Operating Officer for Opportunity Village. In these positions, she consistently demonstrated her ability to drive growth, build strong teams, and forge strategic partnerships.
